Directors and Officers

Theodora Schulze - President

Theodora Schulze serves as President of Phrygian Ministries and serves as President of the American Conservatory of Music. She has directed numerous recordings of sacred music featuring the works of Heinrich Schutz, Orlando Gibbons, Hans Leo Hassler and many others as performed by the Telemann Society Chorus and Orchestra on the Amphion label. She serves on the faculty teaching Oboe, Conducting, Music History, Theory, and Musical Style. She promotes the performance style that was widely in use at the Paris Conservatory of Music. She is a protoge of Mssr. Alfred Barthel.

Otto Schulze - Chairman

Otto Schulze serves as Chairman of the American Conservatory of Music. He has appeared on numerous recordings of the Telemann Society on the Amphion label. He serves on the faculty teaching Violin, Organ, Theory, Composition, Electronic Synthesis, Audio Engineering, and Acoustics. and he also serves as Psalter at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church.

Rev. Father Daniel Gorham - Abbot

Rev. Father Daniel Gorham serves as Abbot of the Orthodox Monastery of St. Michael the Archangel in Belize, Central America, and serves as Dean of the American Conservatory of Music. Father Gorham also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Conservatory.

Martha Gingles - Secretary

Martha Gingles serves as Secretary of the American Conservatory of Music. She serves as the Conservatory's Chief Director of Research and also serves as Head Librarian of the Robert R. McCormick Memorial Library at the Conservatory. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Conservatory.

Staff

Soo Youn Hong - Executive Director

Soo Youn Hong, an Alumna of the American Conservatory of Music, conducts research in Church Music and is active in Music Ministry at several churches located in the eastern seaboard states (USA). Her devotion and steadfast Faith make her contributions to this organization very worthwhile to those who benefit from the services of Phrygian Ministries. She has appeared as clarinet soloist with the New World Symphony, and the Daejeon, Russian and Seoul Philharmonics and has earned top prizes in Young Artists Competitions internationally.
